The MOSES project (Modular Scalable Optical Equipment for Space Cameras) is part of the AEI Support Program and aims to develop modular optical equipment with Star Tracker and SSA functions that will facilitate the orientation of satellites in orbit to carry out emergency or automatic maneuvers.
This solution aims to tackle the current problem of growing space debris, which poses a real risk of collision with satellites in orbit, jeopardizing telecommunications and the monitoring of natural disasters on Earth.
The project, with a budget of more than €350,000, will be developed over a period of eleven consecutive months and will bring together a consortium of companies and other entities from the ecosystem. Specifically, Secpho, leading the management, Lidax Ingenieria, Greenlight Solutions, Solar Mems, and Andalucía Aerospace will participate in the project, contributing their resources and experience.
Both Secpho and Andalucía Aerospace will be responsible for developing communication and disseminating the project’s results to position the consortium as technological leaders in the aerospace sector, as well as seeking to bring the entire value chain towards this type of advanced technology.
