The Pablo de Olavide University of Seville joins Andalucía Aerospace Cluster
The rector of the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO), Francisco Oliva Blázquez, and the managing director of Andalucía Aerospace, Juan Román Gallego, have signed this Friday the agreement of adhesion of the UPO to this business group with the aim of promoting research, transfer, dissemination and training activities in areas of common interest.
This scientific and technical cooperation agreement lays the foundations to facilitate the development of joint projects and activities in the area of scientific research and innovation applied to business and entrepreneurship development in the aerospace sector, as reported by the UPO in a press release.
Likewise, the collaboration in activities of experimentation, dissemination, training or demonstration of research results in the aerospace sector will be promoted; the development of projects through the subcontracting of technical and technological services to the Pablo de Olavide University; and the collaboration in the design, advice and development of joint research, innovation and dissemination projects in the aerospace sector.

The managing director of Andalucía Aerospace, which brings together 95 companies in Andalusia, stressed the importance of collaborating with universities “as we want to promote innovation and make it accessible to SMEs”.
