Impulso
Description
The IMPULSO project proposes a novel development in the value chain of metallic components manufactured by 3D printing, with the ultimate goal of establishing an efficient and simple methodology that allows the implementation of additive technology in the manufacturing production chain of two relevant sectors, at a national level such as aerospace and medical.
To do this, the project has been divided into two phases, a first focused on additive manufacturing within the aerospace sector, since it was considered that results and conclusions could be reached in the short term, and a second phase where these methods and knowledge are applied to the medical sector.
IMPULSO will allow technology and applied knowledge to be developed and transferred in order to implement additive technology in the aerospace and medical sectors.
Project supported by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
