The Seville City Council, headed by its mayor, Antonio Muñoz, held a working meeting this Tuesday with members of the Aerospace and Defense Industry Commission of the Andalusian Confederation of Employers, led by the president of this commission and president of Andalucía Aerospace, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón Manrique, and the secretary general of the CEA itself, Luis Fernández-Palacios González de Castejón, to explain the details of the candidacy of the city of Seville to host the headquarters of the future Spanish Space Agency. Muñoz has obtained the support of the CEA for a candidacy that, he stressed the alderman, not only benefits the city, but the whole of the aerospace industry in Andalusia.
In this meeting, where they have also been present, as members of the Commission of Aerospace Industry and Defense of the Confederation of Employers of Andalusia, representatives of various companies in the aerospace industry (Gaha Aranda, Ghenova Engineering, ADA-ITS, Pegasus AERO Group and Solarmems), the Federation of Metal Companies of Seville (Fedeme) and our business cluster Andalucía Aerospace, as well as the president of the Confederation of Employers of Seville (CES), Miguel Rus, and where the broad business and social support that Seville’s candidacy is obtaining was highlighted.
