Description
CAF Digital Design Solutions is a company specialized in to providing Multidisciplinary Engineering and Consulting services. Its main activity has been the Design Projects for railway vehicles, but has experience in other transport systems and their modernization. The entire life cycle of a project is covered, from the initial management of the requirements to their final validation. We carry out transportation systems commissioning, production engineering, tooling development, homologation services, as well as warranty and maintenance engineering.
We have a Digital Projects area, in which the two main pillars are digitization, and additive manufacturing. We perform reverse engineering, optimization for 3D manufacturing, and finite element simulations of these designs and redesigns. Additionally, we master post-processing of additive manufacturing parts and hybrid technologies by combining additive manufacturing with fiber and resin lamination.
